A small step in the right direction. Stuart Green, our new County Councillor also met with Mark who confirmed the cost of design is estimated at 1 million and replacement 7-11 million.

Letter to Land and Water June 2025
They have responded - Recently, we have seen more activity for oversize loads and I wish to reassure you that a couple of months ago we relocated our largest equipment to our Rainham depot in Essex. There will continue to be long or wide loads in and out of the site but it will be reduced from what has been experienced in the first half of this year. The police determine if they will escort the very oversize loads (nearly all of which which has been relocated) or if our hauliers require a private escort or for standard loads an escort is usually not required. These escorts should adequately manage the risk to public and should be able to prioritise access for emergency vehicles should the need arise.
Email to WCC and MP July 2025 with more photos and comments and a request to improve signage at the exit to the Cedars which currently routes ALL traffic for M42, M6 and A446 through Whitacre Heath. It should be just those over 18t.
